- Implement a framework for setting and helping our teams achieve our environmental objectives and wider environmental issue awareness.
- Actively demonstrate our commitment to comply with legislative requirements and rules set in place by local environmental agencies to protect the natural environment.
- Implement project specific environmental management plans where required.
- Aim to reduce any negative impacts that our works may have on the environment.
- Aim to reduce our consumption of water and energy wherever possible. Harvesting of water from our office roof and adoption of electric vehicles and scooters in our vehicle fleet.
- Prevent pollution.
- Reduce waste wherever possible. ‘Reduce/reuse/recycle’ of waste materials generated in the office and on site and disposing of any unavoidable waste in an environmentally safe manner.
- Provide environmental considerations in our standard operating procedures and conduct environmental checks in our site inspections.
- Report all or any environmental hazards as soon as possible to relevant agencies.
- Proactively respond to all incidents, accidents and near misses with a focus on continual improvement to enhance the organisations environmental performance.
