Maintaining Appearances
When the owner of this inner-city villa requested a pool be incorporated into their home environment, GreenscneNZ Landscapes set to work designing a bespoke solution. With a young, busy family to consider, the location of the pool and its visibility from the house was key.
Once a design was finalized, GreenscneNZ Landscapes worked with a pool builder to excavate from the constrained access property and successfully construct a family sized pool in the backyard. The client was thrilled. However, once the pool was constructed, it became clear that the overall outdoor environment needed to be reworked to bring the exceptional pool design into a wider concept for the whole property. GreensceneNZ Landscapes set about now designing a garden and decking area to tie the area together and to the house itself.
The results were spectacular. To keep it that way, the client then engaged GreensceneNZ Landscapes to maintain their much loved garden and it’s been that way for over 10 years now. Our job is to design and build living environments that improve people’s personal lives, and this property has been a pleasure to see it get so much use and love from its inhabitants.
